StAR FLH^TM is a low invasion fluid loss additive that has been designed specifically for Oil Based and Synthetic Based fluids. It is an evolution of Impact's FLC2000^TM, designed to give improved high temperature high pressure (HTHP) and permeability plugging apparatus (PPA) fluid loss while maintaining the very low sand bed invasion characteristics already seen with FLC2000. StAR FLH is not only limited to HTHP applications and will give excellent performance across a broad temperature range. The improved spurt loss and total fluid loss results for the HTHP and PPA are seen across a broad range of fluid densities and non-aqueous base fluids. StAR FLH is very effective at controlling fluid invasion at concentrations often as low as 4ppb and like FLC2000, is able to seal micro-fractures and provide wellbore strengthening and wellbore stability. It is stable to temperatures in excess of 400ºF
